Q1: What is the Master's Program in Financial Technology?
A: Digital banking has become an increasingly important trend. From mobile payments on smartphones to blockchain technology, as well as various payment services and Bitcoin, many traditional banking services must transform as technology continues to advance. Financial institutions are increasingly using digital technologies to provide more efficient and more precise financial services. However, there is still a shortage of professionals in Taiwan who understand both finance and technology. Many traditional financial institutions focus heavily on finance but have limited knowledge of how emerging technologies can be applied effectively. To bridge this gap, National Chung Cheng University established the Master's Program in Financial Technology in response to industry needs. The program is designed to cultivate interdisciplinary professionals who possess knowledge and skills in both finance and information technology.
